Hey! I’m in the reflecting pond! It’s Day 3 at the University of the Pacific, where I have the delightful title “Innovator in Residence.” I’m inspired by the generosity, ingenuity, creativity, and good will of the marvelous students, faculty, staff, and administrators I’m meeting each day. We’re talking together about how to make change and discussing the ideas in Faculties: A Dialogue on Inciting Constructive Change in Destructive Times as a “how to” to ensure that we can build coalitions and make effective change together.

And, in other news: the Blue Tsunami. Yes, yes, yes, we can–and we did. Now let’s make the most of it: affordability and accountability. There’s a lot of remedial, reparative work to be done. Coalition- building for the win.
